Centre Based Childcare Facility
Working closely with the client and project team, ADW Johnson was responsible for the preparation and management of the development application for a 126 place centre-based childcare centre on behalf of Stevens Group. This included the preparation of planning documentation, coordination of consultants, and ongoing project management of the planning process to achieve development consent and other statutory approvals. ADW Johnson has also assisted Stevens Group successfully modifying the development consent to facilitate amendments to the building design and site layout, as well as amendments to bushfire protection measures.

Town Planning
ADW Johnson planning team prepared the original development application for the project, including the Statement of Environmental Effects, and managed the application through to obtaining development consent from Lake Macquarie City Council. In addition, ADW Johnson has prepared and lodged multiple s4.55 applications to modify the approved development, including building redesign and adjustments required to bushfire protection measures arising during the construction phase. Through a proactive management approach, approvals from Council and RFS were able to be achieved efficiently on each of these applications
