Review of masterplan suitability to context, views, and infrastructure serviceability

ADW Johnson were engaged as project managers of the planning proposal for the 28ha Wilga Wilson precinct in Ingleside. Coordinating an extensive team of technical consultants for joint clients and landowners, Mirvac and Truslan, ADW Johnson were also engaged to review a masterplan, prepare an infrastructure servicing strategy and character and visual impact assessment to document the suitability of the proposed development in the locality.

ADW Johnson worked closely with the clients and project team to refine the development mix including recommendations for the masterplan to including a central community focus surrounded by low and mid-rise housing, street pattern and integration of open space and stormwater systems into the masterplan.

The work included an assessment of views to the indicative development on the site, specifically a locally significant heritage item near the site (Baha’i Temple of Worship). A 3D massing model was prepared to support the visual impact assessment and contextualise the planning proposal to the surrounds.
