} ?>ADW Johnson has been the lead consultant on Murrays Beach Estate part of a 605ha master planned community at Wallarah Peninsula providing civil engineering, surveying, town planning, project management, and contract administration services since 2007. The vision for North Wallarah Peninsula is ‘a community where lifestyle of the people and health of the environment share sustainable outcomes’.
The strong environmental stewardship principles of the project have defined it from its initial stages. Lessons learnt from those early stages and a drive to improve the subdivision product has seen a need for sensitive input of civil engineering, surveying and planning knowledge and skills. Interaction with environmental specialists has maximised the resolution of environmental issues, including tree retention, flora/fauna habitat retention, riparian management, stormwater management, bushfire management and construction management. ADW Johnson’s involvement in the project commenced with that core task of balancing and resolving environmental values and outcomes with practical and cost-effective design and subdivision product.Â
Preparation for Development Applications for assessment by JRPP and Lake Macquarie City Council. Various Section 96 applications. Preparation and negotiation with Council regarding LEP standardisation.
Concept engineering design for whole estate for financial model preparation. Detailed engineering design of all civil works, including roads, drainage, water and sewer, and water quality facilities..
All surveying associated with residential developments including, detail surveys, engineering survey, Linen Plan preparation (community title), and work as executed surveys.
Construction Supervision of 400 lots of the development including coordination of geotechnical engineering consultant.
Project Management of all aspects of the development including development applications and liaison with Council officers, civil contractors, construction supervisor and all other sub consultants. Feasibility and Financial modelling review on quarterly basis.
