The ADW Johnson survey team was engaged to provide a detail survey of the existing site to facilitate the design of the new University of Newcastle Gosford Campus. As part of the detailed survey, state-of-the-art point cloud and Lidar survey was carried out to provide an accurate representation of the surrounding urban environment. The Lidar survey ensured that built form elements for the campus building could be designed to interface with elements which could traditionally be difficult to survey via conventional methods such as building walls, gutters, roadside furniture, signs, and more.
