ADW Johnson was engaged by Webber’s Carpet Warehouse to undertake a built form study to investigate the development potential for a 2,400m2 site surrounded by parkland in Annandale. This investigation was triggered by planning pathways available under the Housing Delivery Authority.
The study focused on testing built form options achievable on the site, with proposed mixed-use developments up to 16 storeys, consistent with the built form established by the nearby development.
To support the proposal, ADW Johnson presented the investigations to the City of Sydney urban design and planning staff as well as preparing urban design, planning and flood impact assessment for the Design Advisory Panel.
The investigation provided the client with development pathways for progressing rezoning and future planning proposals.
