ADW Johnson was engaged to provide a comprehensive service package for the development of a boutique land lease community located in the Port Stephens LGA. The project involved town planning, civil engineering, and surveying of the project site in addition to a significant lead-in road upgrade on Trotter Road.

Town Planning

While the project was already approved for a DA before our involvement, our Town Planners were required to prepare a section 4.55 modification to modify the proposed site layout and road network, the number of sites, and the operation type of the sites. Additionally, a section 68 application and objection report was prepared to allow for moveable dwellings to be constructed on-site.

Civil Engineering

ADW Johnson provided civil engineering services to prepare construction documentation for the provision of roads, stormwater conveyance, stormwater management facilities, sewer, earthworks, and retaining for the boutique land lease community.

In addition to the caravan park, ADW Johnson worked closely with Port Stephens Council to prepare construction documentation for the upgrade of Trotter Road. The road upgrade included widening of the existing pavement, provision of traffic control devices, stormwater infiltration swales, and verge works.

Surveying

Our surveyors provided boundary definition, title review, and topographical survey for the civil design of the project.
