🔥While progressing the next stage of works at Fletcher Green, Minmi, Daracon Group, Winten Property Group, and the NSW Rural Fire Service came together to provide a safe and practical environment for firefighters to sharpen their chainsaw skills🪚

With support from the Hunter Area Commander, Minmi Rural Fire Service were able to train in a controlled, hands-on setting. This type of (real life) preparation is essential as we move into summer, when bushfire and storm activity becomes more frequent. ☀️🌡️

Practical chainsaw training is vital for the RFS. These skills help crews clear fallen trees, remove hazards, and create safe access during active fire events. The quicker and more confidently they can work, the better they can protect communities, safeguard properties, and keep themselves safe. This level of preparation saves lives 🚒💛

What began as routine clearing work turned into a valuable opportunity to contribute to that readiness. A big thank you to our Minmi team for recognising the potential and making it happen. Their initiative is a great example of how everyday project activities can deliver real community benefit.
