Two of our own, Emma Tinlin and Kye Rodenberg, have had articles published in the September edition of Azimuth, the magazine of the Institution of Surveyors NSW (ISNSW), it’s unconfirmed, but surely these two articles will be Azimuth’s most-read ever! 👏

🚤 Emma Tinlin – “Wave Hello to Bathymetry: Let the Extra-oar-dinary Fun Begin!”
Emma shares her experience surveying sewage ponds across the Hunter Valley using a remote-controlled boat equipped with surveying technology to measure sediment build-up. Her article highlights the variety, problem-solving and teamwork involved in surveying, as well as the opportunities the profession offers emerging surveyors.

🤖 Kye Rodenberg – “Generative AI in the Surveying Industry”
Kye explores how generative AI could change the surveying profession, from streamlining routine tasks to improving efficiency and workflows. He also considers the importance of professional judgement, verification and understanding when, and when not, to use these emerging tools.

It’s fantastic to see our team contributing to industry conversations, sharing their experiences and helping showcase the evolving nature of surveying.

Congratulations to Emma and Kye on their publications and for representing ADW Johnson Pty Ltd so well! We’re proud to have you as part of our team! 👏
