ADW Johnson Pty Ltd – helping you navigate the opportunities created by long-term growth corridor in the Hunter Region.

The Draft Structure Plan for the Anambah to Branxton (A2B) Regionally Significant Growth Area, is on public exhibition until next Tuesday, 6 October 2026.

The recently released Structure Plan covers an area over 15,000ha, across Cessnock, Maitland and Singleton LGAs and provides important direction for landowners and developers with existing landholdings, development interests, or future plans in the region. The Structure Plan sets a long-term framework and vision for growth supported by infrastructure.

Some key changes include:
• A 10% increase on current residential zoning
• Higher-density development concentrated around centres and stations
• A total capacity of 68,000 dwellings (35,000 in Maitland, 26,000 in Cessnock, 7,000 in Singleton)
• A staged framework for short, medium and long-term precinct development.

ADW Johnson Pty Ltd can help you understand what the Structure Plan means for your property and development pathway – bringing planning, urban design, surveying, engineering and project management under one roof to turn opportunities into deliverable projects.
