Great to attend the UDIA NSW Hunter Luncheon at Merewether Surfhouse last week, a cracking day and an important discussion on the future of the region 🌊

Our own Jason Yeo presented the 2025 refresh of the Lower Hunter Building Blocks Report, followed by an insightful panel discussion with Jeff Bretag (McCloy Group) and Hanna Shalbaf (NSW Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure) 👏

The update highlights the scale of both opportunity and challenge in the Lower Hunter:
💰 $261 million in enabling infrastructure is currently delaying the delivery of 22,800+ dwellings and 130ha of employment land
🚀 A further $237 million could unlock ~14,000 additional dwellings and 470ha of employment land

A key takeaway is clear, addressing state road infrastructure constraints is critical to unlocking this pipeline and supporting continued growth 🛣️

ADW Johnson Pty Ltd is proud of its long-standing involvement with the UDIA and the preparation of the Building Blocks reports, providing a practical, evidence-based framework to help prioritise infrastructure investment across the Hunter and Central Coast.
