ADW Johnson Inducted into the University of Newcastle Hall of Fame!
We are thrilled to announce that ADW Johnson has been inducted into the Hall of Fame at the 2024 Employability Excellence Awards! This recognition highlights our long-standing commitment to supporting the employability of students and fostering the next generation of engineers.
For over 30 years, ADW Johnson has proudly collaborated with the University of Newcastle, providing career-ready placement opportunities to Engineering students. Many of these talented students have gone on to secure full-time roles with us, a testament to the incredible learning experiences they gain through hands-on, practical placements.
Our relationship with the University extends beyond just placements; we are passionate about empowering the next generation of engineers. We’ve been proud supporters of the Women in Engineering Society and regularly engage with students at industry events and expos, helping to build connections and foster talent. With nearly 50 University of Newcastle alumni working with us, we continue to thrive on the strength of this partnership.
A special shout-out to our team members Cameron Black and Donna Peachey, who were present to accept the award on behalf of ADW Johnson. We are excited to continue our journey of empowering students and contributing to a future of confident, capable, and life-ready engineers.
