The Verve Apartments are located in the heart of the Newcastle CBD which is up to 20 storeys tall and is considered a flagship high density residential and commercial development within the city of Newcastle. The urban renewal project is sited on an existing business area in the Newcastle city centre and aims to maintain the existing character of the area whilst providing much needed housing and commercial amenity to the area.

Surveying
The ADWJ survey team conducted a detail survey of the existing built form which was to be replaced with the Verve Apartments. The detail survey was required for external structural and architectural consultants to proceed with the design for the new apartments.
A plan of subdivision was prepared to facilitate the strata titling of existing land for the new Verve Apartments.
In addition to the detail survey, a strata survey was performed once construction had commenced on the Verve Apartments. The strata survey involved the mapping of ownership within the new building to assist with the operation of the building.
