As part of the NSW Government’s commitment to delivering 1.2 million new homes under the National Housing Accord, the new Housing Delivery Authority (HDA) has been established, starting January 8, 2025. This initiative is set to drive the creation of well-located, diverse, and affordable housing across the state.

🏠 The HDA’s goals are to identify and fast-track high-yielding housing proposals with the potential for rapid assessment and construction.
📍 Eligibility: Projects valued at over $60 million in Greater Sydney (100+ homes) or $30 million in regional NSW (40+ homes).
⚡ State Significant Development Pathway: Selected projects will benefit from an expedited process, including concurrent rezoning.
