As of 1 July 2025, all Plans and associated documents must be lodged online via NSW LRS Connect. This change follows the NSW Government’s updated Lodgment Rules, requiring that all new and re-lodged plans be submitted electronically.
This applies to all Registered Surveyors and anyone involved in the lodgement process.
🧭 What You Need to Know:
✅ Pre-allocated Plan Numbers (PPNs) are now compulsory for all lodgements
✅ All plans must be lodged and re-lodged via a NSW LRS Connect workspace
✅ “Paper” plans issued before July must be scanned and lodged digitally ✅ Use of the Digital Form Builder is optional, but increasingly common
✅ Legal professionals can contribute documents, but cannot lodge
